Studio Engineer
You will be responsible for monitoring, controlling and assisting the video team technical aspects. You must respond to and diagnose problems in the daily production. – Including problem recognition, research and resolution steps while being the person in charge of the studio and all broadcasts.
Having the necessary skills and knowledge of video engineering is a must.
What you will own & improve:
- Supporting, assisting and collaborating with the daily operations is key.
- You are responsible for In-House broadcast same as on Location
- Monitoring the video and audio quality of the services delivered is also
essential.

Supervising technical tasks performed by all the video editors and manage the group with efficiency and exceptional managerial skills will be your bread & butter.

Coordinating and setting the new video presenters from a technical stand point is required.

Coordinating with Studio/Show Supervisor for video technical-production requirements and collaborations.

Making sure that all technical requirements to produce videos are coordinated is paramount.

Video equipment handling and maintenance is one of your most cherished tasks.

You must lead others when issues arise and must apply your skills and knowledge for troubleshooting.

Collaborating with leads by providing requirements, answers and support for new products is key

Training new video team members in Studio procedures is required

You are the main point of contact for all department issues regarding technical procedures and/or troubleshooting.

Report all mayor issues/fixes to team lead.

You like staying up to date with new technologies and equipment to improve our procedures and products
What you already know:
- Tricaster, LIVE recording platforms / PromptDog
- Tech support experience
- Google Drive & Microsoft Package
- High English level (spoken & written)
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching and
development skills. - LIVE streaming experience, knowledge of live streaming software.
- Networks and telecommunications skills.
- Multimedia formats and their applications to video production.
- Sound production & editing.
- Video recording software knowledge, application monitoring.
- In set, audiovisual production knowledge both LIVE and Post-Production
- Audiovisuals management applied to technical support and equipment
maintenance. - Problem solving skills & detail oriented
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability
- Adobe Audiovisual Essentials: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition. Character Animator, InDesign and additional Adobe software and Final
Cut. Related editing software knowledge are a plus. - 3D Software knowledge is a plus.
- Corel Painter and additional illustration software a plus
- Sports knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in audiovisuals related field.
